Lost and the possible dead dog?

Our family has been watching the series Lost on Netflix for the past I don’t even remember how long we’ve been watching it. We eat supper then turn it on. Then I get up to put the boys to bed and sit back down and they all tell me what I missed.

We finally finished the Finale episode. The 2 hour one tonight. We reached the end, still confused. Not all of our questions were answered.

The sad part was in the end Jack died. Or he was already dead? Or he died on the plane crash and everything we’ve been watching was just some Heaven/Hell/Purgatory type show. I looked up on Wikipedia the explanation and I sort of understand. Still confusing though.

And then this happened…

The very last scene Jack dies in the bamboo field next to Vincent, the dog. And my wife who was already crying said “Did the dog die too?!??!?” Lol

Then Heather said “No, it’s like a comfort dog to get him to Heaven,” because that makes sense to her.

Sarah and I just looked at each other like WTF is wrong with these two. So now we’ve had a half hour debate on if the dog was dead or if the dog was just Shepard’ing (Come on someone get that joke!) Jack to Heaven. It only got heated when Brandi said “ABC would not kill off a dog on national tv because like PETA would be all over that shit.” Lol

I’m done. I’m glad the show is over. The next show they picked was something called The Fall. I have no idea what it is about but it’s supposed to be a suspense thriller like Dexter. Now Dexter was a funny show. It was also gross and scary but it was entertaining.

I know I’m posting this about 7 years too late but I finally got to see the entire series. Thank you Netflix. You have such a wide variety. Great show, I really liked it. It was always something new and interesting each episode. I hope they make another show like it someday.
