Hawaii Life is Amazing

Life in Hawaii is pretty darn good. This year is rushing by and I’m trying to get my head ready for the Holidays with no extra family or friends. I had such big plans for 2020 Thanksgiving/Christmas. Oh well.

The Canadian border is still not opening up. They delay it another 30 days each month because Michigan and other bordering states can’t get things together. It’s terrible all over the place and we still have no Federal response.

Thankfully the election is coming up and we can finally get rid of Trump. I’m still doing my phone banking on weekends and the girls are doing the text program. It works out because they can sit down for a few hours over the weekend and contact the people needing help to vote. We are fully immersed in Joe Biden campaign. I love it.

My kids are doing great. Sky had a little bug this week but it turned out to be just an upset stomach for a night and part of the next morning. Of course my heart sank when she woke up covered in throw up. I immediately thought Oh Here We Go! It was nothing serious. I am so blessed everyone is staying healthy. We are on the last big project of this property. So far we put new sand down the 1 mile stretch of beach, cleaned up the entire beach area, added a dock, added a boat lift, bought a boat, added jet skis, had a travel van completely rebuilt so I can take the entire family around in 1 vehicle, cleaned up the main house, fixed everything that had been neglected on the property for years. Our very last project will be digging a brand new well for water. It’s exciting stuff. The boys love the huge machines. It’s necessary to do it this time of year because of how much saturation the ground has received this year. We have been waiting about 6 years to do it. The time has come. It’s noisy over on the east side of the island but it’s going to be worth it in 2 weeks when we are ready to go. I’m excited.

I ordered a whole bunch of stuff for Amazon Prime Days. The boxes have been flowing into the house this week. I love it. Each day is a new day to see what we got. The kids have new shoes, new clothes, some really fun outdoor toys and we installed a net to play games with the kids. We had it lowered so that we could all adjust if it was kids vs kids or Adults vs kids. We have been playing baseball and basketball all year, I thought something different would be fun.

Things are smooth. Quiet. I love it. I am doing well. I’m worried about my friends and family back on the mainland when Cold/Flu season fires up. That sounds very scary. I hope you guys take care also. I pray for all of you. I hope your start of the Fall Season has gone well. I love you guys! I will update more this weekend.
